IKON was contracted by Braun Intertec to remediate and restore a 40-acre parcel of property previously used as a scrap tire processing facility. 

We were tasked with excavating, loading, shredding, transporting  and disposal of over 13,000 tons of whole, quartered, and shredded tires. IKON mobilized a horizontal shredder to shred approximately 1,000 tons of passenger, truck and off-road tires. We arranged for the proper transportation and disposal of regulated tire shred and pieces to a TCEQ permitted landfill. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The project was completed under budget and within proposed schedule limitations.
